Josh Collins drops Dry Line Falls on Mill Creek.
On this particular day I was working on a series of photographs of local whitewater kayakers who paddle the most difficult whitewater, whatever the weather or conditions.
The split in the polar vortex brought heavy rains to West Virginia. We received almost an inch of rain in less than 24 hours. For three straight days, the best creeks were running and I was there to capture the action.
I wrote an article for the Beckley Register-Herald to accompany this photo. They published the entire article and three of my photos to go with it.
