Landscape Photography Portfolio picture of a foggy morning at Diamond Point in the New River Gorge National Park.

Foggy Diamond in the New River Gorge

If you see the word Diamond in any of the titles of my pictures, it’s because I shot that image from Diamond Point in the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve.

It’s one of my favorite place to shoot photographs for three main reasons:

  • It’s quick and easy to get to (ideal for those early morning sunrise shots)
  • It has one of the most breathtaking sunrise views in the gorge
  • It also has great sunset views as well

On this particular morning I came out to photograph the sunrise but it was so foggy I couldn’t see anything. The sun was shining through the fog and it made a gorgeous image of the rocks and trees of Endless Wall.

I hardly did any editing to this picture at all. It’s almost straight out of the camera!

The only product I am currently offering are prints on PVC. You may not have heard of prints on PVC because they are new, but they are BEAUTIFUL! They have all the detail of a paper print without the glare of glass or additional cost of framing. They arrive ready to hang with a mount that puts the image 3/4” from the wall for a modern “floating” look. The finish is a metallic luster that I feel compliments my style.

Why not canvas? Personally, I do not like the texture that comes with a canvas print. I don't feel that they are as detailed as a PVC print and I have been unhappy with the overall printing of canvas prints that I've ordered in the past. To be fair, I have seen canvas prints that look good but I don't know where they were printed and until I find one I'm happy with, I don't want to offer them. Furthermore, canvas prints are much more expensive.

That said, if you'd still prefer a canvas or a paper print, please use the form to the right to message me and I can put together something custom for you.
